Kitchenaid Brand Ovens from Whirlpool, Inc.

In June of 2011, Giskan Solotaroff Anderson & Stewart filed a class action lawsuit against Whirlpool Corporation, on behalf of all customers who have purchased KitchenAid branded self-cleaning ovens which require costly repairs and become unusable after self-cleaning cycles.

I. Plaintiff's Factual Allegations

As set forth in the complaint, lead Plaintiff alleges, on behalf of a class of similarly-situated consumers, that Whirlpool sold self-cleaning ovens under the brand "KitchenAid" that it knew or should have known were defective and unreliable.

Plaintiff seeks to represent a class consisting of all individuals who purchased, on or after June 3, 2008, at retail price and for personal use, a KitchenAid brand self-cleaning oven in the state of New York.
